Windshield

Windshield | Ellensburg, WA | 2014

Sunlight ricocheted twice for me to see this windshield reflection. Take a second to ponder that miraculous feat. Photons zoomed 93 million miles to reach Ellensburg. They then bounced off the ornate facade of the Downtown Pharmacy, then smacked into the car’s windshield, then caromed again straight into my eyeballs. This ranks high on my list of natural spectacles, right after the fact that humans somehow process oxygen molecules to stay alive. But I’m easily enthralled.
