My two favorite cosmic particles — photons and water molecules — play well together. Water is often at its best when gorged with light; sun rays seem more tangible when angled through mist. Examples: Glowing rainbows and the illuminated spray of lawn sprinklers. Says artist and writer Aaron Rose: “In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary.” Particularly if it’s wet.
