The history of fold-up camp chairs seems darned short. Just a few years ago, a smattering of camp chairs dotted a few backyards. A month later, they had taken over the world with dozens of brands and scores of designs. Now everybody has one or two chairs — maybe a dozen — with some including retractable rainflies, cup holders and WiFi connections. Me? I miss the aluminum-frame web chair. Minimum sag. I could sit tall like a backyard king and rule every barbecue with authority.
