One guru recommends a Senses Census — noting in the moment what you see, hear, taste, smell, feel — to plug into the present. Me? I’m chilly sitting here on the patio. And the constant coo of doves feeding nearby is boring a hole in my brain. Obviously, not every moment is magic.
